Positive: This really is a stunning and unique location. The property has recently been refurbished to a very high standard (whilst keeping to the Grade listing restrictions) and really is a super location for exploring the local area, whether for a few days or longer. It is certainly not the cheapest property you'll find in the area, however quality comes at a premium and we felt this property offered this in spades. The host Caroline could not have been more welcoming and was full of tips and suggestions for local walks, etc.

Positive: The whole experience from start to finish was amazing. We had regular communication throughout, and were given advice on where to eat, where to drink, where to shop and also other things to do in the local area. Would love to come here again!

Positive: Caroline was extremely welcoming and helpful, even before we arrived The apartment was placed in a beautiful setting, very spacious and lovely decor. There was a large, garden and wood fired hot tub. Location was great for visiting Rye and Hastings and Winchelsea beach was only a few minutes drive. Would highly recommend and look forward to staying again.

Positive: Location and views were lush, a shame we couldn't go in the heritage part of the garden but understand why that was not possible. We had a really nice 3 days here and there was plenty to do within that time. Apartment decorated perfectly and sustainable products used. Very accommodating for dog although dog bed not provided.

Negative: Nothing that I disliked. Expected there to be shower soap and small pot of honey, pepper/salt would have been a plus, something to think about fort the future as that could be the difference for a 5 star rather than 4 star review. There is a small shop open nearby so wasn't a problem to get those items ourselves! Would be happy to come again in the future, thank you Caroline 😊
