You'll be wowed by this architectural beauty with floor-to-ceiling windows offering sun-kissed ocean views. Located in the ritzy gated community of Playacar & a lovely 15-20 min stroll to town. You'll pass stunning villas, greet happy tourists walking & riding bikes.
The villa is ideal for families & larger groups as each bedroom enjoys a spacious en-suite bathroom offering guests privacy & space.We're one of the few villas offering the services of a highly trained Chef who'll impress you with her culinary skills! She specializes in Mexican cuisine yet can also prepare other types of cuisines depending on your tastes, preferences (religious), allergies etc.
CHEF SERVICES
*Chef prepares breakfast & lunch 6 days per week with 1 day off for a 7 night stay. (On check-out day she prepares only breakfast)
*Groceries & delivery, & gratuities are extra & paid in USD cash to the Chef /manager
*A menu will be sent to you for meal planning
*Chef can accommodate food allergies & preferences i.e. vegetarian, vegan, GF etc
*Chef Hours: 9AM to 3PM
*Dinner is not included but can be arranged if Chef is available. Rates are: Adults 12 & up: $40. Kids 5-11: $20. Kids under 5 are free. Groceries & gratuities etc. are extra
*Specialty Menu: $50 per adult (children not incl.). I.E. Lobster,steak, lamb etc.
Please note that 'Playa' has an impressive dining & nightlife scene that should not be missed!

*The terrace & pool area are a guest favorite offering a large freshwater pool & warm Jacuzzi, loungers & umbrellas. (Note the Jacuzzi heats up to warm/very warm. Due to being oceanfront & winds, the Jacuzzi will not get hot.)

*BBQ grill, outdoor shower & speakers, nighttime pool lighting.

4 MASTER BEDROOMS - All 4 bedrooms offer king-beds & its own en-suite bathroom with Mayan rain shower, TV, A/C, ceiling fan, safe & luxury toiletries. 3 bedrooms open to the pool & enjoy ocean views
*4th master bedroom with newly renovated bathroom, & king bed can be made into 2 twin beds if needed. (No ocean view but a very tranquil bedroom)
*2 futons are in 2 bedrooms for kids
VILLA SERVICES
*Manager can arrange activities & tours, water activities etc. These costs are paid by the guests & are not included in the villa rental
*We offer one-time roundtrip complimentary airport transfer. If guests arrive at different times, an extra transfer rate will apply
*Housekeeping provided 6 days per week (Excl Sun & MXN holidays)

LOCATION
We're perfectly located offering history & culture, cuisine, sports, water activities etc. The area offers shopping, dining, golf, snorkeling, scuba, windsurf, para-sail, jet ski, deep sea fishing, & ancient Mayan Ruins. Or eco-parks (Xcaret, Xel-Ha, Xplor). Or hop on the ferry to Cozumel Island for the day!
The villa offers a dedicated team working together for many years who have perfected the art of customer service.
THINGS WE CANNOT CONTROL
*Due to warming ocean conditions, sargassum (seaweed) may occur in the Mexican Caribbean during the warmer spring & summer months. We cannot predict if & when it may occur & if it will disrupt the beaches/swimming. Barriers have been installed to help reduce it. (We welcome guests to research this.)
*In the early winter months, the beaches in the area can be subjected to erosion. We cannot control these events or predict during inclement weather how eroded they will get. We cannot predict what they will be like for future bookings unfortunately. The pictures are accurate when the beach is at its optimal health which is most of the year. The tides & wind can change & the beach can expand again. Please ask us about this before booking if the beach is key to your stay as it isn't for all guests.
*Please purchase travel & medical insurance in case of job loss, flight cancellations/delays. Hurricane season is also from June 1 to Nov. 30 so please consider this when you book. We don't refund unless a travel advisory is in place.
*We cannot refund or credit guests due to the above so please take the necessary precautions as an informed traveler.

Summary: I came here with 7 of my friends to celebrate 20 years of friendship and we had a wonderful time. We loved the beach view and access, the pool, AND especially chef Julie who cooked us amazing breakfasts, lunches and dinners. Masha, the property manager, was also super helpful in organizing taxis and making restaurant reservations. We'd come back.

Summary: Overall, we loved our stay at Casa Callaway. The house manager Masha, chef Julia and the cleaning lady were all excellent - easy to communicate with, extremely competent and excellent customer service. The house is gorgeous and the location on the beach was heavenly. The one aspect it would have been helpful to have forewarning is that the beach had greatly receded from the photos so there was in fact very little beach to sit on. We had a marvelous time by the pool but may be wise to let guests know.

Summary: The house is great. The chef made amazing food. I would recommend everyone to stay there. Just a note, bring cash for your checkout process. They do not take credit card. I didn’t read that but it is in your contract. That is the advice I would like to pass on.

Summary: The online photos did not do the property justice. It was more spacious than the photos indicated. Chef Juliana was simply amazing!! Breakfast, lunch and dinner did not disappoint! The pool was perfect! Playa del Carmen is a short walk from the house. We had a relaxed, fulfilled vacation! A bonus was the Skydiver's landed directly on the beach in front of the house and we watched from the pool! We will absolutely return!

Summary: Don't miss the chance to stay at this fabulous condo! Great communicataion with the host, & the staff are amazing! The food to die for, the villa is paradise on the ocean. The master bedrooms with their own bathroom is a huge perk. It was such an amazing stay that we can't wait to book again.Better than 5 star!

Summary: Casa Callaway is the perfect get away. The house was beautiful and had four master bedrooms each with en suite full baths. Three of the four bedrooms face the ocean and have sliding doors out to the pool deck. There is a short lap pool, hot tub, lounge chairs and a dining table and chairs with awning. The beach is just down a set of stairs and is lovely, not too crowded and you can easily rent jet skis, parasailing and more at the next beach over. Best of all, Casa Callaway comes with Chef Juliana. Her breakfasts and lunches are fabulous and we also had her cook us a few delicious dinners as well. The house is in a gated community and we felt very safe. We also saw many police & national guard patrols. It is a 10 min drive to the vibrant Fifth Avenue shops and restaurants. Highly recommend.

Summary: What an amazing vacation! From the pre trip communication and planning with the house manager, delicious breakfast and lunch with house chef, to days of fun jumping from the private pool to beach, this trip checked all the boxes for our family. The house is located in a gated community, close to downtown, with easy access to restaurants and shops. I was a little concerned about safety and security prior to the trip, but once we arrived I was reassured by the locked gates, cameras and patrolling guards. Very safe and welcoming community. Aside from a little noise one night from a wedding at the neighboring hotel, it was very quiet and relaxing. Our family had a wonderful vacation and would rewind, repeat in a heartbeat! Thank you Sally and Masha for making this a truely special holiday trip.

Summary: 5 of us stayed here for 5 nights and loved every minute of it. Had great communication with Sally before our trip, she quickly responded to all of my questions which helped us plan our trip. The house manager, Masha, was great to work with and was available every time we had questions. Julie, the chef, is the best, every meal she made for us was amazing! Marabella was very sweet and did a fabulous job cleaning the house. Casa Callaway is beautiful & in a great location, Playa del Carmen is a short walk from the house. We loved the pool/hot tub, beach and the 4 master suites. We highly recommend renting this house and we're planning on going back!

Summary: we fell in love with Casa Calloway! Julie, the chef, was amazing, and Masha, the hose manager was always available for anything we needed. The views are incredible (sunrises on the beach!) and the pool was spotless. It was so great to sit in the pool under the palm tree and watch ocean just steps away.

Summary: We stayed at Casa Callaway with our 4 children, ages 4, 7, 9, and 16 and my brother in law and sister in law. We loved how the house was set up with a private bath and king bed for each room. It was perfect for our group and gave us all our own space. After coming from a resort in Cancun, we loved the more intimate feel and to have our own pool with a beach right there. Since it is a public beach, there are a lot of people outside on the beach and in the alley way, which was fine for us, but could make others feel less private. The food prep for breakfast and lunch was wonderful and so easy. We wished that we would have scheduled Chef Julie for a couple of dinners, especially the last night. Taxis out of the complex were really expensive so we finally just rented a car, which we probably should have done sooner. The only thing that I wish they would change about the property is the windows in the bedroom into the bathroom within the bedroom. It worked for our group but I could see how this might be uncomfortable if you were traveling with friends. All in all it was so easy and relaxing and wonderful and we were so happy with our stay. Having the chef and housecleaner was so worth it for us.
