Positive: lovely place, 3 minutes drive from Bamburgh castle. very clean and a nice homely feeling.

Negative: no central heating. the house is very cold and one of the days we ran out of hot water as our daughter had a bath early afternoon meaning we couldn’t have a bath or shower ourselves in the evening. the radiators are very old and just don’t give out enough heat when it’s cold.

Positive: It had a large fully enclosed garden - perfect for our dog. The property was well proportioned with lots of room and included everything we needed.

Negative: There were some areas of the property that looked a little tired but that didn’t detract from our enjoyment of the cottage.

Positive: Cottage was lovely and cosy, with everything needed. It was easy to find the keys and had everything needed. The fire was great in the evenings.

Negative: The only thing that could have been improved is that we could not get the shower or bath to produce hot water, despite reading all the instructions. This wasn't great on chilly winter days. It's also almost impossible to get anywhere on foot from the cottage.
