An ideal spot for vacation Ventura; visit Ojai or Santa Barbara nearby or just enjoy the beautiful beach, Take an excursion to the Channel Islands National Park; Main St shops... beach is a short walk away! Wonderfully located in peaceful neighborhood.
Enjoy 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, 2 car garage, and a short walk to the beach! There are several bikes for guest use w/ helmets and bike lock. Large outdoor space with BBQ GAS grill and firepit. Wi-Fi, SMART TV w/ DVR, DVD Player, a ton of movies to enjoy! The entire home is for guests use.... includes 3 bedroom, 2 full bath, Full kitchen/dining room, living room, laundry, 2 car garage, huge back deck, bikes for guest use, and more!

Quiet and peaceful. People walking their dogs and jogging to the beach. It is quiet and friendly people. Gorgeous walk to the beach.

Summary: Great location for our trip with a party of 4. The house had everything we needed, and Janna was easy to contact and take care of any needs. We took a fun little gondola ride at channel island harbor less than an 10 minute drive from the place, and would definitely recommend it. Ask for Mark at Gondola Paradiso! Dunes Hideaway was a great place to stay!

Summary: We had a very nice stay. Took a couple of day trips to go hiking and had a great comfy place to come back to each evening. We walked to the beach early one morning where our son proposed to his girlfriend!

Summary: We arrived to a warm and inviting home. While it was bigger than we expected as there were just two of us it had everything we needed for a relaxing and welcoming stay. Quiet neighborhood, and Close to the beach which is what we really wanted. Easy access and communication with owners. Highly recommend.

Summary: The house is well-laid out and works well as a base for family dining, entertainment and sleeping. The beach is 100 meters away across a busy road, but it's a great sandy expanse and worth the short walk. Plenty of places to eat and shop within a 15-minute drive. There's not much going on in Oxnard, but the location is close to more scenic spots such as Ojai and Santa Barbara.

Summary: Loved the house and the location. The back yard was amazing. Couple of things that would have helped are more toilet paper and trash bags. My son fixed the screen door in the downstairs bedroom as the mesh was completely separated. He also fixed the outside water faucet that was leaking. We enjoyed the vacation and will be back.

Summary: The Dunes Hideaway was the perfect home away from home! It has everything you’d need for your stay and Janna was readily available to answer any questions. It was a gloomy and rainy weekend during our stay, but that didn’t stop us from having a great time. my teenage kids enjoyed the bikes and being able to paint rocks, and the living room with the comfy couch was perfect for enjoying a lazy night in with the smell of the ocean air. The location is great! Overall, I would definitely come back next time we are in town visiting family.

Summary: Came for a few days to visit family in the area and this was a great spot. Close to the beach and easy to get to. Comfortable bed. Good wifi for when we needed to get work done. Loved that we could park our rental car in the garage. Would return.

Summary: Nice property and super nice view out back. We were there for a family wedding and had a great time! The access to the back patio area is through one of the bedrooms....so not ideal but still really nice. And the beds in the one bedroom are small...but good. The beds were comfortable and the upstairs layout was great just not super big. Great convenient location by Ventura and Oxnard! Thanks!

Summary: Janna made the check in process very easy. The house is comfortable and the neighborhood is quite. There are bikes to use and the backyard is really inviting. We enjoyed our stay and it was perfect for our family.
