Summary: I love staying at the property. It was old thatched cottage but beautiful. Very friendly staff and the breakfast was beautiful

Summary: The Duke of York is a proper British local pub in a building that's a good few hundred years old. The staff and the locals are friendly and welcoming and the food is great. Dont get upset that there's no lift to the upper level or at the absence of Aircon. Just go with the flow

Summary: Landlord and staff very friendly and accommodating. Food very good. Building in need of updating and attention. Not suitable if you go to bed early as noise from bar can keep you awake. Bed very comfortable. Good breakfast

Summary: On arrival had to fight our way through customers eating and drinking in the pub and try and get the attention of the man behind the bar. No keys to rooms. A door from the bar took you to the staircase that anyone could access. No official parking, cars were all over the place on the narrow roan in Iddesleigh.
