Summary: Our stay was only for 1 day, everything was great. We had torrential rain while there however we stayed dry, Staff were lovely & meals were very nice

Summary: We stayed at Rhino lodge with our 6 year old and 3 year old and it was the perfect base to explore the Zoo and Dubbo region. The kids loved the novelty of sleeping in a tent and we parents didn’t need to sacrifice any creature comforts! The check in process was easy, and tent was set up thoughtfully with two single level beds for the kids (rather than bunk set up) when we arrived. A small fridge had biccies, milk and supplies to make a cuppa and sit on the deck after we unpacked. The onsite pool, kids play equipment and restaurant/bar were just what we needed for easy dining after a day out sightseeing and offered a decent selection of food options to keep everyone satisfied. It was lovely to fall asleep to sound of frogs and wildlife at night, however if noise from neighbouring tents is an issue for you suggest packing some ear plugs. Overall, we really enjoyed our glamping experience and would recommend this place highly for families looking for a unique country experience!
