Summary: Very nice cabin. Secluded but yet close to raystown and trough creek parks. Had everything we needed. Host was very nice and accommodating. Definitely worth going! Hope to go back in the fall.

Summary: The Drooly Bear Cabin met our needs for a quiet, restful getaway. There's a welcoming charm to the place that makes it feel familiar and inviting from the first moment. The cabin is well appointed with comfortable beds, furnishings, and a well-equipped kitchen. The kids loved the swings outside, and while we were there, we saw deer, owls, and turkeys.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at the Cabin. It was perfect for my husband, myself and our two teens. There were plenty of fun things to do, and we enjoyed poker night and old school arcade games. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Loved the air fryer and the electric skillet. Not having to chop our own wood was a plus. We went fishing nearby at Raystown lake and Trough creek state park We didn’t catch anything (except a few dead fish) but we would love to come back and try again. We would probably hire a boat tour next time to get to know the area. The visitor center at Eaystown was super helpful. Can’t wait to go back!

Summary: We were looking for what we always dreamed of a cabin experience should be, quiet, secluded, charm, in the woods & this was it times 10. The gravely wooded drive down the lane to the property gave me high hopes of a peaceful weekend & it delivered. As soon as we turned into the driveway, it was exactly what we hoped for. The front porch was warm & inviting. Walking into the home, the pictures online do not do it justice, its even better in person. The downstairs living room, dining room & kitchen all open to one another & the flow is great. The fully stocked kitchen was great. I noticed theres even a bread machine, crockpot & rosters, which are convenient & a nice surprise. We only used the master bedroom but the bed was very comfortable, pillows were fantastic (I even jumped online to order some for home). It rained the whole weekend but did not mind one bit as this was a mini getaway for my boyfriend & I, & our lab baby, to get in some relaxation and find some peace & rest. When we arrived, the caretaker had graciously stocked wood inside the cabin for us to start the wood stove with, which was a blessing with the rain.We made sure to do the same prior to leaving. We will hands down be returning. Matt was an excellent host & was so accommodating. Just a note for pet parents, its extremely dog friendly, however we learned that with our almost 13 yr old lab, the deck steps were too much for him & had to carry him up & down, just a note for the senior pets.

Summary: Very beautiful, secluded cabin has everything you need very roomy absolutely breathtaking loved the wood burner the sky light windows especially over the bed and the jet tub was a plus the owner was wonderful answered back ASAP and even called to talk about things before we arrived was very nice about check in and check out very caring will definitely book again and would recommend to anyone needing a little peace in there life
