Positive: Nice hotel and amazing location. Staff was super helpful.

Negative: For a 5 star hotel I would suggest a few improvements - please get smart TVs, not having Netflix or possibility to connect your phone is outdated. Kettle is a handy option, but I would expect more than instant coffee - a small nespresso machine would be nicer. It's quite strange that the pool area is shared with external guests, I was not even able to take a pool towel with me back to the room and was told that they belong to the gym and hotel is just using it.

Positive: The hotel was easy to find via taxi from the airport. Check in was nice and easy. However we just wanted to drop our bags. During check-in they wanted to charge more for early check-in. We had already made it clear we didn't want to check in early. The room was nice and comfortable. Lovely and clean. Sheets were changed the next day. We did run out of shampoo and conditioner but was refilled the next morning. The fact we could only have one cup of tea or coffee is a bit of a negative. It felt like we weren't fully looked after. Whilst the DoubleTree Hilton is a five-star hotel, however I do feel it was slightly lacking in some aspects. It didn't give me that luxury feel and due care and attention that I have had in all the other five star hotels I have stayed at. When we visited the bar, the service wasn't very welcoming. We left after one drink feeling quite underwhelmed.

Summary: Nice hotel. Nice location. But is it really a five-star hotel on the edge of the old town?
