Summary: Nice hotel …..clean….. friendly staff and in a great area. The only thing I can complain about when it comes to the Doubletree is that they charge for everything… parking is not free. It’s $46 per night to park I couldn’t afford that had to circle the Block for hours to find free parking and walk .It says breakfast included, but breakfast is an extra $27 per room but everything else was good wonderful clean room spacious nice pool workout room. Everything was lovely besides parking and the fact we had to pay extra for a breakfast that was supposed to be free

Summary: The front desk team was very welcoming and accommodating. I brought my dog and they explained the policy. Valet was kind and efficient. The hotel room seemed worn out and need of upgrades. Being a hotel right next to the galleria, I could see furniture in the room was worn and the details needed focusing. The room was clean but I would have management look into touching up stains on head board, aged mirrors, knicks in furniture and spots on ceiling. Overall a very economically friendly wallet close by to some of the best restaurants and shopping houston has to offer.

Summary: Staff was wonderful, lobby was gorgeous, self parking was easy, room suite with kitchen was spacious. Location is great, near the galleria. Unfortunately the room furniture, carpet, window curtains, shower curtain, and tub were all stained and dirty. Furniture was also old and worn, rusted, chipped or torn. By holding up the white towels to the sunlight I could see there were some stains there as well.

Summary: It was a nice place location wise and the staff at front desk was great! However the room service hrs slow, housekeeping did not clean the bathroom or replace toilet paper! Drinks expensive at the bar and water down! Room need major update but space was great inside room

Summary: I would have more stars but the front desk was rude after checkout when I called to see why I had a $40 charge. She told me it was for overnight parking but I didn’t park overnight. I borrowed my cousins car then parked long enough to pick up my friend waiting in the room. We went shopping and out to eat then came back, unloaded the car, and took it back. I was charged over night for that. The woman who answered the phone was rude and would not correct the mistake. When I told her I was never explained an over night parking fee for parking a couple hours she replied “there are signs.” I was left with a bitter taste in my mouth from what I would have otherwise said was an extremely pleasant stay.

Summary: Room wasn’t ready for FIVE hours. They did comp my Parking. I booked a suite so I could cook in it- bought a bunch of food, only to find out they “ran out” Of kitchen supplies. So i wasted money booking a suite and wasted money buying food i couldn’t prepare. The staff was friendly and the beds were comfortable, I will give them that. Oh, and 2 of the 4 elevators didn’t work so you were waiting 10-20 min for an elevator.

Summary: booked a suite with the kitchen access and there was NOTHING in the kitchen to eat or drink with. the furniture had stains there were needing to be cleaned. housekeeping had no soap in our room to wash hands with on day one. Day two we came back to no clean towels and they took everyone we used the day before. and let us no forget with 26 floors and 4 elevators; only 2 were working. this was the saddest DT i've ever been too and will not be visiting your property again.
