Summary: A huge change. We stayed here awhile ago and there have been significant improvements - in the staff friendliness and helpfulness and in the comfort of the rooms. A smallish room but we were able to get the first floor that we wanted and the bed was comfortable and shower strong. Only comment is that the furnishings were a bit dated and not in the best condition (sheer window curtain torn, sink control leaking at the base, electric outlets on the lamp/desk were not tight enough to hold the plugs, safe not working). Nothing can beat the surroundings of the marina and walking paths. Just so peaceful. And of course, having our dogs, and other dogs, be able to stay is the best part.

Summary: Waited over 30 minutes to check in. I was told the pool was closed due to broken pipes. It was open with several people swimming. No ice in any of the machines. 40 dollars to park is ridiculous.

Summary: The stay was pleasant except for the check-in process. I was given plenty of grief, because my wife made the reservation, but I arrived with my son. We flew there from Southern California and had to drive in your horrible Bay Area traffic for over an hour to reach your establishment. You should change the policy about which spouse's name is on the reservation. I had to call my wife to get verbal permission for you guys, like I was a teenager. How embarrassing!

Summary: I have always loved staying here. This visit was a little disappointing, the pool area was unstaffed, so there was no one to talk to about whirlpool being cold. Locker rooms were closed off with caution tape. There was a phone to call front desk but it was broken. The restaurant was pretty busy. Most of the staff got involved with some issue around receipts. They were huddled by the register at the bar for 15 minutes and finally a guy came up the stairs and said people were waiting for a long time to be seated. I never did get service and eventually left. The bright spot was the front desk staff who were always helpful, kind and competent. This has been true on every visit and this one was no exception. Whoever trains them should work with the boathouse team.

Summary: We had a marina view room and our university tour wasn’t until noon. At 8am construction outside our window began massive pounding sounds. I called the front desk and the manager was “too busy” to talk with me about my complaint and related the city did not inform him of construction (doubtful.) Also, the shower containers were all empty, no shower gel to clean oneself.

Summary: Property is worn but economical. I dislike cheap maintenance; they used a rotating shower knob where a pull style is required. Had to discover how to turn on. Laziness!

Summary: This place was 13/10 stay. Nice and out the way, really nice for privacy but still close to the main freeways. Hotel room was perfect. Place feels safe and the hotel workers were all very kind. Good store inside and hotel restaurant was great. My only thing is maybe enforce a dress code for the restaurant to keep up the standard that is present. Overall will stay here over and over again.

Summary: After staying at various hotels in the area during my monthly business trip I thought I had finally found the crown jewel. After a perfect check in and tour of the facility I knew I definitely belonged here. That all came crashing down when I encountered one of your housekeepers on the last day of my monthly three day stay. I had asked for additional time for a late check on and the front desk told me I could have an extra hour before they would charge me a fee Sounds great. Thank you. However at check out time an angry Asian woman called on the phone and rudely demanded I immediately leave. I told her I was granted an extra hour by the front desk and she continued yelling telling me we have no such policy and I had to leave immediately. She was rude and threatening. I ask her to stop yelling at me. I wa s shocked and began packing to leave immediately. Ten minutes later a loud knock at the door and Asian woman was there and she told me to get out immediately. I again explained to her I was offered a little additional time but she didn’t care. Eventually she told me I could stay a little longer and she wouldn’t touch me but then I had to get out of here . It was rood and disrespectful. I finished packing and left unfortunately for the last time. June 30-July 2. Room 1221. Although the faculties were great and everyone else was wonderful, one person ruined my stay and I unfortunately will not be back.
