Positive: The hotel is at prime location, next to a big shopping mall. Very good breakfast with plenty choices. Sound proof rooms and comfy beds. Gym and swimming pool are next to each other.

Negative: The air conditioning system needs to be fixed and upgraded. The first day I stayed in a room facing the court, it was humid with high moisture. So I changed to a room facing the street, but it was too hot even I turned the temperature down to 18 degree.

Summary: I would still recommend this hotel in Heyuan city.

Positive: Location, breakfast, parking, and the fact that it’s dog friendly. They brought a nice little house and bowls for the four-legged guest 😀

Negative: There is an additional charge for pets, which 100% fair and justifiable, and you get assigned to a pet friendly room, so as not to leave other rooms smelling. This is also a very good practice. The only catch is that the pet friendly room smells really bad, with severely stained carpets. They could use the extra charge to deep clean those carpets.
