Summary: Lovey staff. Food good. Nice bar, but the room was freezing as was the loo. No central heating, only a small blower heater. We couldn’t find the switch for the towel rail in bathroom. Couldn’t wait to leave. We were family in room 17. Steep stairs so beware for this room and don’t book unless it’s warm outside!

Summary: This was our first time back in over a year since under new management. We had the most lovely breakfast hamper in our room of yogurts , fruit ,museli , fresh milk , honey with tea coffee chocolate & juices. This was so much better for us personally as did not have to rush up to go down to breakfast in the morning giving us a much more relaxed approach to the day ahead . It was replenished if you put your sign on door next morning. I much preferred the layout of the bar area tables & chairs in the pub , and decorated tastefully Halloween . We booked a table in the restaurant for the evening and the food did not disappoint. Both hubby & I had the plentiful rump steak which was cooked on the grill to perfection . A short walk to Runton beach via public footpath from road . Can’t wait to come back loved our stay 10/10 !

Summary: Room was nice n clean a good size there wasn’t a lot not to like I will say tho our room was at the front of the property which looked out onto the road which was noisy at times even with the windows closed.
