Summary: Hotel a very strange layout, having to drive around back and forth to room and restaurant. Very limited menu, and the beer ran out, so all that was available was a 330ml bottle of lager at £4.50, with no discount cause they ran out of beer, I wasn’t the only one who asked, and so no one bought any bottles, at that extremely inflated price. Menu was very basic and most items not available, had the burger which was 5/10. Rooms are lovely, just the bar restaurant staff and service was poor, had to go up to the bar to order food, as I had been waiting 15 minutes , after the lady didn’t come back, so just had one course as it was getting late, and didn’t want to waste all night in there

Summary: The hotel staff are very helpful and the room was lovely. Evening meal was good, although it would have been better to have more venison options ie. Burger? as the meat was promoted in other ways. Breakfast was disappointing, scrambled eggs dry and tasteless, on wholemeal bread when advertised as granary
