Positive: After a good sleep, we had a typical Italian breakfast. I asked about the surrounding and the city. The host is exceptionally kind, and he treated us with inspiring hospitality. He took 2 hours and showed us his hometown Summonte. The Linde and the castello. We even posed with sword and shield. And he showed us his project and work. Grazie

Negative: We arrived late in the night, and had problems finding the apartment. The house is big, and we couldn't discover the banner for the entrance. An illumination in the night at the banner for late guests would help, to make the find it.

Positive: Summonte is a town that is rated one of the top 100 beautiful cities in Italy. It is a beautiful city and the perfect place for Domus Felix. Giovannie was attentive to our needs both for our room and made sure we had enough to eat for breakfast. Besides the usual continental-style breakfast, he also had some of the local cheeses and pastries from the area. It was all delicious. The room was cozy, but it fit our needs completely, so getting a small room wasn't a drawback for us. Besides, it was very hot outside, and the room had A,C so we had no complaints! Our host also knows the manager of a fantastic seafood restaurant in town, within walking distance. So, if you like seafood, make sure you ask Giovanni to make a reservation for you.

Negative: There seem to be two locations for the address of the B&B. One is north of the town and the other is in the village itself. You want to make sure your GPS is set for the one in Summonte. We did have to park away from the B&B, so it was a good thing it wasn't raining. But Giovanni did come with us to the car to help us with our luggage. Both my wife and I are in our mid-70s, so the climb up the driveway was a bit of a struggle. Then we also had to walk up to the third floor. These are not complaints. They are just observations.

Positive: The host was super friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and modern with a great view. The bathroom was large and had a really nice shower.

Positive: Giovanni and his partner welcomed us to the property and immediately made us feel at home. After showing us to our room, which was brand new and spotless, and giving us a tour of the rest of the property, we all had lunch together. Afterwards, he gave us an impromptu tour of the village's main highlights like the tower, which unfortunately was already closed around that time. Eventually we parted ways, but not before following his advice to book dinner at a pizzeria that was also very good. The next morning, at breakfast, which is prepared by himself, we chatted again and he advised us to check out the funicular to the Montevergine Sanctuary, which we did. At each step of the way he made us feel welcomed and cared for in ways you seldom see these days.

Negative: Absolutely nothing bad to say about the property or the village. However, it may be worth noting that access to the rooms requires going up some flights of stairs, which may be a challenge to people with mobility issues.
