Positive: Superb host, classic 1030s house (deco/nouveau…) furnished and decorated in perfect period style. We had asked for dinner in advance and were treated to a nine course meal with aperitif and wines for a very reasonable price. We ate with six others - French and Dutch - which was great fun (80% in English).

Negative: Nothing!

Positive: The property was exceptional, everywhere was beautifully decorated. The host was very friendly and accommodated us by speaking English. We had the option of having an evening meal which was amazing and all home cooked. Breakfast was also very good.

Negative: Every thing was really good. Such a beautiful house, with antique furniture and ornaments, I don't think it would really be suitable for lively children.

Summary: Wonderful host and food, made us feel very welcome.

Positive: A wonderful home from home in a chateau in Normandy and close enough to the toll road although you wouldn’t know from the peace and quiet The rooms are very clean and well equipped. The beds are comfortable with clean fresh linen The host, Jean-Francois is delightful, welcoming and can’t do enough for you The table d’hote is fabulous and all home cooked and great value for money - definitely not to be missed and you get to try lots of Normandy local produce Can’t recommend this place enough

Positive: Jean-François is the most perfect host imaginable. It’s like he has been a lifetime friend you stay with. Renée cooks a marvelous homestyle meal, you dine with the other guests as if they are long time friends. Sumptuous breakfast, lot of homemade, or local sourced, food. Splendid location.
