Positive: This is a beautifully restored chateau located in the country on a quiet and scenic location. It is well located for traveling to scenic sights such as St. Emillion, various wine estates, and Bordeaux. Our hostess was lovely ,providing a morning breakfast served with homemade breads,jams,yogurt, and locally grown produce.Additionally, she provided suggestions and directions to some interesting places that we would not have known about without her help. A warm and wonderful place to stay.

Positive: Arriving, we were shown to our room which was spotless and beautiful, kept cool from the heat outside with a fan and beautiful shutters. The furniture throughout has been chosen with care, with attention to detail. This is the same outside in the garden which is well maintained, and the pool kept at the perfect temperature for cooling off. Breakfast was a great spread with homemade jam, huge croissants, freshly squeezed juice and plenty of coffee. The host was the perfect amount of conversation whilst leaving us to it. She created an amazing grazing board and bottle of chilled local wine when we arrived, and had some great recommendations for local shopping and eating out. The town itself is very quiet and laid back, but had events happening by the river and was within walking distance of the domaine. We would love to return!

Positive: Our hostess was amazing, welcoming, and accommodating from beginning to end. Breakfast was just as we wished and of course, we splurged on a dinner in. Meals were delicious and full of flavor. Our room was perfect, cozy and comfortable. We were able to truly relax and unwind.

Positive: Fantastic property and Emmanuelle was wonderful host. Breakfast was superb and the perfect way to start the day. We took advantage of the evening meal option twice and loved both the food and company. The pool area was great but unfortunately the September weather was not the best on this occasion. Emmanuelle very helpful with restaurant options and suggestions on things to do in the area. Location is was perfect for using as a base to explore the Bordeaux area with St Emilion just 25 minutes away.
