Positive: I loved Shandra, the owner, I loved the lens, the pillows, the towels. She was a great hostess. The place was comfortable the temperature was comfortable, it was a little further away from cognac than I would’ve liked and it was a wee bit difficult to find because our car navigation would not enter this address as a valid address but our phone ultimately did.

Summary: A lovely place to stay. Fantastic host and hostess.

Positive: Very charming and it still has the feeling of the former grand home but with beautiful colors and some modern twists.

Summary: We recommend this region. It is different but charming. Just to drive the small roads and visit Cognac

Positive: Delightful owners run the property: friendly, helpful and efficient. Lovely old building in very pleasant grounds in a rural setting. Large room with comfortable bed, off road parking and an excellent breakfast.

Negative: The shower and toilet facilities were not en suite but across the corridor although solely for our use. But it was OK and the renovation project is still a work in progress.
