What was planned as a standard two-night hill-station stay quickly became one they wished they had extended to three. The private balcony offered breathtaking layered valley views, becoming the undisputed highlight where the family spent long, peaceful moments watching the mist and changing light. Breakfast impressed with its fresh, authentic South Indian buffet, especially the soft idlis, flavorful sambar, and pongal that even their picky daughter enjoyed. An unexpected air hockey table provided hours of fun for the kids and was possibly the only one in town. Secure, sheltered on-site parking gave complete peace of mind after the long drive from Chennai, adding to the overall satisfaction with the warm staff, great views, and entertaining stay.

And the food… it was like a warm embrace!, the good food taste reminding me of home-cooked goodness. Breakfast was awesome, and Al Carte was worth the money. Positive: The Dolphin Nose Retreat is a lovely hotel situated on the cliff with a stunning spectacular view from your room. You actually can relax in your bed and see the scenic valley from the huge window. Regarding the staff, they were wonderful, from the start they helped us with everything we needed, they showed us where to walk around to see the sites, they even helped us with our laundry. The breakfast was very good and at request they prepared omelette for us. I warmly recommend the Dolphin Nose retreat!!

Positive: It was one of the lovely retreats after a year, Vattakanal is an amazing place with beautiful misty weather and Amenities & Services at Cloud Walk is a top notch. From Customer Service to restaurant, we were taken care of very well and we enjoyed our stay with a private bon fire and a candle lit dinner, waiting to return soon.

Negative: There is nothing in particular to be mentioned

Positive: Very much enjoyed Scenic views from the Balcony, truly a bliss. Property has Indoor games for Adults & kids for their entertainment. We enjoyed our stay over here, the staff was helpful and friendly for any matter contacted them for. Cleanliness is very good. Best resort for Couples & Family.

One of the most courteous, kind, obliging people work here and take care of you so well that you are spoilt ! The quality of stay, the resort, every minute detail is amazing and mesmerizing. Food was just stupendous and delicious, special thanks to Chef Sharma Ji for preparing mouth watering & finger licking Tandoori Chicken. Never been so satisfied & happy with any properties that we have stayed so far in Kodai. Special thanks to Front office staffs for their courtesy & gesture. A perfect gateway from the Hussle & bustle of busy life . Thanks Cloud Walk Team.
