Positive: Dolphin Inn is situated in a lovely quiet area near the beach. It’s close to public transport and has plenty of restaurants nearby. Iris was absolutely wonderful, meeting us and getting us settled. There is a kitchen and sitting room area too. The property was very clean and it was a great place to rest.

Summary: I’d recommend Dolphin Inn to anyone looking to stay in Barbados.

Negative: I know mattress’s are personal but I really struggled with the hard mattress. Sore hip one side, bad shoulder the other and not the best back meant I couldn’t get comfortable.

Positive: Iris was an impeccable host. She was always onsite and able to answer any questions we had. Her son came and met us with a smile at the airport and took us for a little drive around the block to help us get our bearings of the local area. The room was ideal for what we wanted and needed as a base and allowed us to make our own breakfast and lunches as we pleased. The balcony is a nice little bonus, and we even had a family of monkeys come by and say hello. It was a 5-minute walk to the beach and all the amenities and an even shorter walk to the bus stop to Bridgetown or Oistins if you like exploring a bit more of the island. If we were to return to the island, we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Positive: Super clean. Large rooms. Comfy bed. Excellent AC. Really great location. Lovely host. Perfect if you’re looking to stay near St Lawrence Gap. As a single woman I felt totally safe.

Positive: Perfect location, set back from the busier streets in the area so lovely and quiet and only a short couple mins walk to all amenities, shops, bus, various beaches, restaurants and bars. Bed was so comfortable! Everything you need is in the apartment, terrace area is beautiful and family of monkeys visited daily. I loved my stay! Iris and family are so friendly and helpful, I would return here in a heartbeat
