Positive: Wonderful and tasteful large room with a fabulous view across a beautiful, well-kept garden. The location is unbelievably quiet, though you will hear guests above, if any are present. Assuming that timings are vaguely aligned, that's not a big deal. Unique breakfast location in the orangerie with view across the garden.

Negative: At first glance, the bathroom - which is reached via the corridor - seemed uncomfortably small. However, the shower is large and it's unlikely that anyone will be encountered in the corridor. The house is very large and privacy is assured.

Positive: Dolphin House was the perfect stay for several days in Bath. Located on regular public transport route it was an easy bus ride into town, or alternatively a lovely 3 mile walk along the canals into Bath. With several great restaurants/ pubs within a 15 minute walk there were options for dinner. George and Jane were lovely hosts and served an extensive continental breakfast included in the rate. Jane is a talented artist and we bought a couple of pieces of her work. The home was located in a lovely peaceful setting at the base of Solsbury Hill

Negative: Everything was good, bathroom door was a little low for my husband but that is the beauty of homes of that era

Positive: A house full of charm and character, in a quiet location on the outskirts of Bath. We had our own lounge room, bedroom and bathroom overlooking the garden. Breakfast was included and was served in the orangery every morning. Several old pubs and places to eat are conveniently located nearby. Bus route into Bath city centre also nearby.

Negative: Nothing in particular.

Summary: If we are ever in Bath again we’ll certainly see if Dolphin House is available for booking.

Positive: Jane and George are wonderful hosts and have decorated the house amazingly well. Would highly recommend this place over others - very tastefully done. It's accessible via public transport too and is located close to Solsbury hill for a quick hike

Positive: Jane and George were absolutely lovely, and their attention and care was what really made the stay special. The breakfasts were very fresh and tasty. The house itself is stunning, and the garden is beautifully maintained and such a joy to explore. The room was clean and decorated with both era-appropriate decor as well as paintings made by Jane herself, which were gorgeous! There are local amenities 5 minutes down the road with everything you would need, set in a idyllic countryside town. Overall, an excellent B&B that I would thoroughly recommend.

Negative: My only complaint would be the lack of carpeting, which meant we would often hear people moving about in the room above us. It was a bit of a shame but didn't keep us awake.
