Summary: The staff were all amazing and we had booked a traditional room - upgraded to an Onsen bathroom. It was a shame we only had one night as we arrived at 7pm and had to rush to dinner as last sitting was 7.30pm. Our futons were the most comfortable beds we slept in for our entire trip to Japan. Matsuyama was a lovey city, I wish we had had more time
