Welcome to where relaxation meets convenience! This cute small cottage is the perfect choice for a friends' trip, couples retreat, or family vacation. Walk only 1,000 feet to reach Sunset Lane Association Beach, a private association beach for the immediate neighborhood only that also allows dogs.
Located in the cute lakefront town of Lakeside, this ground-floor home is surrounded by beautiful trees and lush nature, offering a true 'get away from it all' feeling. Inside, an open floor plan seamlessly combines the living and dining areas and the well-appointed kitchenette. Snuggle up on any of the sofas by the wood-burning fireplace and stream a favorite movie or series on the smart TV. When mealtime comes around, the kitchenette will have your back with all the essential appliances needed to whip up everything, from full-course meals to quick snacks on the go. You can choose to dine indoors or delight yourself with nature in the outdoor dining area on the patio. There is a beautiful screened porch with comfortable seats that leads to the patio.

Summary: After reading some of the other reviews, I had expected a little less for this property. However, it exceeded our expectations! The house was extremely clean and well stocked. It is a cabin in the woods, so there is a slight stale smell that you get used to after 5 minutes. The house was stocked with everything you need for cooking and for going to the beach. The beach walk was 5-7 minutes, it was a a beautiful walk through the neighborhood and down the stairs to the lake. The beach is so beautiful and not packed since it is private to the homes. We had our dog with us and enjoyed multiple walks on the beach every day. We will definitely visit this cabin again, it was so relaxing and quiet.

Summary: It’s a cozy spot with ready beach access. Had an issue with the toilet which would not stop running, causing water to overflow.

Summary: We stayed a week and really enjoyed ourselves with our smaller dog. The location is what makes this house, can be dark inside even with all the lights on. Keep in mind there is no central air, no washer/dryer and no dishwasher. We. would stay here again but the price now doubled and we can do better renting elsewhere for the price with better amenities.

Summary: First of all the property is close to Red Arrow Highway. Convenient but sketchy for kids & pets. Decor is retro? But clean. Beach is longer than 1000ft. You have to walk thru neighborhood & then hidden path with roots to get to the 70+ stairs. Cottages are close to each other. Wish air conditioner was in back bedroom away. As it was in back of house, quieter & shaded.
