Summary: I was so surprised to get into such a cute, well-priced get away with only a month's notice. It is tourist season in Alaska afterall. Quiet and comfortable with easy access to the town, I loved my stay. I thought I was going to experience a bear sighting on the first day when some bushes started shaking pretty vigorously, but it turned out to a large bunny who nibbled his way across the yard. It was the kind of wildlife encounter I can appreciate. I would definitely recommend this cottage.

Summary: This was a great quiet private little place to stay while exploring Homer if you want to be surrounded by the forest. It is a short drive (less than 10 min) from the town. We appreciated the early check in and the new washer and dryer to use during our stay. The kitchen is well stocked but could use some updated cookware. The large backyard with regular visits from snowshoe hares and the beautiful view were well worth it!!
