Positive: Our stay at this homestay was hands down the best experience we had during our time in Indonesia. The owners were incredibly welcoming and friendly from the moment we arrived, making us feel completely at home. They went above and beyond with their hospitality, offering tea and coffee at any time, as well as fantastic tours that gave us a genuine and memorable insight into the local culture and surroundings. Every detail was taken care of with so much thought and care (we even got free repellent and snacks for our train ride to Jakarta). If you're traveling to Solo, we couldn't recommend this place more – it's a true gem and a perfect base for discovering the area. We'd come back in a heartbeat!

Positive: Very helpful host with lots of advice about excursions etc. He got us a rental motorcycle to visit the temples in the eastern mountains. Warungs catering lunch for locals right across the street. Highly recommended. Local bus #7 passes near railway station (300m) and stops right in front of the homestay. Stops running at 6pm, though. Tea and water all day in the beautiful patio

Negative: Some Mosquitoes disturbing our after dinner break in the beautiful common area. Bring repellent.
