Summary: We had an excellent stay, very near the Castle and shops. Staff are very friendly the food was delicious and with very good service.

Summary: Staff was lovely. Overall a great experience. Breakfast options was way better than most Irish hotels I’ve been to and tasteful as well. Cosy pub in the hotel. Just things to know: Door closed at night and you don’t get a key to the front door. Also, the building is very old, which is fine, but some parts definitely show wear and tear. If you visit in the winter there are heating hours, which makes the place a bit cold at times.

Summary: Room was cold, reception said the heating comes on at 16:30 which was less than an hour after check-in. It was 18:00 before I felt any heat in the room. Other than that all was good.

Summary: Great stay in a historic building. Friendly staff, fabulous breakfast. Definitely recommend for an overnight in Carrickfergus. Wonderful to walk out the door and see the castle.

Summary: Staff were friendly and welcoming, hot breakfast was cooked to order and was very good. Room itself was clean, bathroom is in need of an update and showing its age. There was no internet in the room although staff tried to reset it it would not connect in the room and cell service was sketchy at best. Our TV remote also did not work, even after a battery change. First world problems perhaps but two things that negatively impacted our stay.
