Positive: Beautiful, bright and very spacious apartment. Location was perfect.. we felt immersed in the old town of Monopoli, but close to the beautiful port and amazing restaurants. Cami was always on hand to offer advice and very kindly arranged for us to have an early check in.

Negative: As mentioned in a previous review there are a quite few stairs but once our luggage was up it was fine, definitely worth the climb to the oasis of the apartment.

Summary: 10 out of 10.. Bright, very spacious stunning apartment.

Positive: Cami, the host, was delightful, very friendly and super helpful as well as being a food journalist with great local dining suggestions. The apartment was better than the photos depict in a fantastic position in the old town a few steps from the main square and port with the famous blue fishing boats. The apartment is very large with everything you need. This was definitely our favourite stay during our 4 week holiday through Italy & Greece.

Negative: There are quite a few steep steps up to the apartment, so something to be mindful of if you are not very mobile. The streets below are very noisey until very late during high season but that's all part of being in the centre of town.

Summary: A memorable, authentically local experience. We loved it!

Positive: Our flight was majorly delayed and our lovely behind incredible hostess Carmen met us super late to make sure we got into the apartment and had no issues. She was SO thoughtful to do that and it was really appreciated after such a long travel day. She had the best attitude about it all too!! I think what was also very unique about Carmen is that in the leadup to our visit - I peppered her with a bunch of random questions about the area, even getting massage recommendations and she was super timely and had tons of information for me. The apartment was beautiful and super spacious with excellent AC wall units that cooled us down after warm summer days! Would 100% recommend this apartment for a family. There are 2 flights of steps up but after we got the luggage up - we found no problems with going up and down. The apartment is also in a perfect location for evening walks and exploring the city.
