Positive: Its a lovely holiday home with only 2 .5 major defects . The living area was super with a nice table , good work space , fully equipped kitchen and plentiful ( Italian ) breakfast supplied also cereals plus coffee machine . Very nice master bedroom and bathroom , plenty of pillows etc . Lovely oudoor terrace . Great security . We really enjoyed our stay in Alberobello

Negative: # 1 - The entrance to the in house outdoor parking is literally the most difficult parking/entrance I have experienced in my 50 years of driving . Luckily we only had a Rental VW T - Roc . Anything bigger like, Toran , Tiguan Volvo or BMW wouldnt be able to get in as the entrance is too narrow/ no room to manouver the car as a Trullo with curved wall/raised garden facing you - this should be made clear in the Booking. Com write up or in Host description. . Nearest outdoor parking is someway down the hill and being outside wouldnt be secure . # 2 - depending on your age the problem that the master bedroom is lower than the living room and adjoining toilet/bathroom and therefore there are about 3 stairs could be a problem . For us it was OK but a railing might be useful . # 2.5 . For us a holiday trip of 18 days by car is not a race to see as much as possibble or a competition so we like to sleep in a little so Raffaele insistence on check out at 10 am became really annoying especially as it was clear that he or his wife were doing the cleaning ( no cleaning lady showed up at 10 am ) so they could easily have done it 2 pm and let us check out at 11.30 -12 . No one arrives before 5 pm anyway . I wouldnt stay here again unless I was driving a Fiat 600.

Positive: The host Mr Raffaele is so kind and helpful. The location is central and most of all the house is so clean and with all the facilities you need. A very good breakfast too including cakes, fresh fruit, cereal, biscuits, croissants and jams. Highly Recommended ❤️

Positive: Alberobello is a popular tourist destination, but the old town is divided into different quarters and Dimora Aia Piccola is very much in an area that is local and does not feel touristy. The house is fabulous in all respects. There is parking available on a large drive, behind an electronic gate, and although the entrance seems narrow at first, we got in and out quite easily. The property is secure and private. The host, Raffaele, is a chef and the kitchen area is exceptionally well-equipped, including a De Longhi coffee machine and every kitchen utensil we needed. Raffaele is very generous with provisions in the kitchen, from coffee pods, to biscuits and fruit, and he left breakfast for our first 2 days in the fridge. He brought us breakfast to the house on the final (3rd morning) and gave us a range of choices. The bedroom is large and the bed is very comfortable. The living area is also spacious with a large sofa, wall-mounted smart tv (also one in the bedroom) and table and chairs. The bathroom is also spacious and well-equipped, with spare towels etc. available. Dimora Aia Piccola is really well-located in the town - a short walk to shops, including a small supermarket, and good restaurants and cafes. It is also well-located in the area. We took a train one day from Alberobello to Martina-Franca and walked to Locorotondo along lovely quiet country lanes. The trains ran to time and are cheap. Another day we went to Matera by car, which is highly recommended.

Negative: Nothing. Dimora Aia Piccola exceeded our expectations and Raffaele was a wonderful host!
