Negative: No beer glasses or larger red wine glasses. The shower water kept fluctuating between hot and cold.

Positive: Lovely cottage which is much more spacious than it looks on the photos. Incredible views over the dam and mountains. Excellent location for travellers to Sani Pass or just to enjoy a quiet breakaway. Loved the hot shower and comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchen and wifi worked consistently.

Negative: There is a short dirt road from the main road to the cottage, but it is traversable by a normal car driving cautiously - not a complaint; just something to be aware of if you have a very low rise car.

Summary: View and comfort can't be beaten in the area

Positive: What a wonderfully peaceful, gorgeous farm stay.....Georgia have us excellent directions and not another sole in sight (perfect), apart from the very gorgeous dairy cows in the distant fields. It's was cold, but wood supplied for the indoor fireplace quickly warmed the cottage because of the double glazed windows and doors. After an evening bbq overlooking the lake, the beds were very comfortable and we slept like logs. So quiet.

Positive: Quiet surroundings, comfortable accommodation, simple but stylish decor. Canoe available for a paddle on a huge dam. Hostess very accommodating.

Negative: I would add another couch for sitting inside at fireplace and more indigenous plants on the property.

Positive: The host was prompt in answering our questions, and what was missing on the first day was provided afterwards, Kayaks were available and we really enjoyed making use of them! The facilities were amazing and we will certainly recommend and return if we are in the area! It was quiet, we had the whole property and lake to ourselves and we felt very safe.

Negative: Getting to the property was a bit of an adventure. A car without high clearance could be tricky and as we arrived after rains, we were only able to access the property via the farm itself and not the usual way over the dam wall. Certain basics were not available and we even had to buy salt and pepper. Also, there are no screens on the windows (so you can't leave the windows opwn in the evening) and no fans. Most nights it wasn't a problem and it is naturally cool, but one night it was a bit stiffling and hot.

Summary: Great location, value and atmostphere. We loved it and hope to return!
