Positive: Everything was okay. The onsen was great, it was possible to buy a cover for tattoo on the reception. We came during the evening by bus from the Hakone downtown. We also had a nice dinner, which we could choose out of a number of restaurants - the hotel managed a free ride round-way and the dinner was amazing.

Positive: Simple, but very nice hotel with good onsen (including outdoor) and sauna (Myst sauna for in female onsen). Friendly staff. Location is convenient, but car is recommended.

Negative: Hard to find disadvantages. It seems that there was no AC control in the room. It was working a bit stronger. No issues under good blanket though.

Summary: A good place to stay. Car is recommended.

Positive: The room was large and comfortable, and had everything we needed. The onsen was lovely, we used it the night we arrived and the following morning before we left!

Negative: We couldn't eat in the restaurant because we hadn't booked 3 days before! However, the receptionist called a local restaurant and booked a table for us, and arranged for us to be picked up and brought back by the restaurant, a service that wasn't reflected in the price of the meal, which was good and reasonably priced
