Positive: After 10days vipassana course in kosgama, I was very happy to discover such gem of place in Sri Lanka only 20mins away from the centre. It's safe, clean, very peaceful place with beautiful rock garden and amazing mountain top view, beautiful natural rock pool with mini waterfall. There are also amazing walking track near by, leading to the summit for panoramic view of this region. The hosts are very kind, friendly, attentive to my needs. this place is perfect for anyone looking for peace and quiet, to relax with fresh air in a natural surrounding. Air is so clean, you can spot fire- flys in the garden! Definitely recommend to those who are attending vipassana course in Kosgama. There are limited rooms, so early booking is essential.

Positive: We absolutely loved the location, the gardens, the view, the outdoor shower. The grounds were by far the best we stayed in in sri lanka. Surrounded by jungle, there were so many birds to look at. The outlook from the natural pool was truly spectacular. There's a walk up through the jungle to a viewpoint which was also gorgeous. The host was really helpful and brought us tasty food. The road up is quite steep and uneven but we drive our own tuk tuk and found it absolutely doable and good fun!

Negative: The bathroom is dark and smelly and could really do with a window or air vent. The room could be a bit brighter and cleaner and we would have really appreciated a mosquito net. It's jungle location means there's quite a few insects and bugs in the room

Positive: Sanjay and his father built such a lovely place. The view is breathtaking and it’s nice to go there if you want to be away from all the touristic areas. It’s so calm and so many (fruit-)trees there. Nothing more to ask for.

Positive: Location is really peaceful and beautiful, as it's a bit remote the owner was so nice to offer to get us any food or drinks we needed. The food made by his wife was absolutely delicious! You get to chill in a hammoc, play badminton, enjoy scenic view on the mountain and chill in the pool. There is even a nice hike to do next door. It was a perfect gateway for 2 really peaceful days. Thank you so much!
