Positive: Beautiful spacious colonial buildings and lush gardens full of birds right by the river. The pool is super long, the rooms and beds beautiful and comfortable.

Negative: The huge restaurant was totally empty in the evenings so it wasn’t inviting. The small floating restaurant was being renovated, that would have been nice.

Summary: A really wonderful place to stay - the hotel feels like a historic building and is very well run.

Positive: The staff were very helpful Breakfast was good. The room was spotless and quiet. Super swimming pool. They provided a birthday cake!

Negative: No lift so the stairs were a challenge. No bar and limited to the floating restaurant for very average meals. The whole property feels in need of a refit.

Positive: Great resort with lots of space to walk around the parklands. Staff were fantastic, rooms size were quite large

Negative: The price was a little more expensive thanks some others available in the area but thought I would give this resort a go. Also, breakfast could accommodate more western cuisine as I thought this was lacking
