Positive: Brilliant stay in wonderful Hartington. Easy parking, friendly welcome, large room with sitting area, coffee making facilities, excellent large power shower and really good restaurant area.

Negative: Although the hotel did not do breakfasts the cafe right next door did a marvellous full English with 10% off for residents.

Summary: Perfect stay in Derbyshire in a comfortable, friendly pub with top notch hosts.

Positive: Lovely quiet village location, The room had everything you needed in it, very generous with the tea and coffee, hot chocolate. The evening meal was good and there was plenty of choice for both food and drink. They don't serve breakfast but there is we were told a cafe next door where you get 10% if you're staying at the pub.

Positive: Made very welcome at early and very helpful check in. Enjoyed our evening meals at the pub with good choice and great food. Whole pub dog friendly which was great for us. Hartington an ideal location for walks and with good bus service as required. Fridge in room really appreciated with good supply of tea and coffee - many thanks.
