Negative: Some noise from a gas boiler of a neighbouring cottage was quite intrusive at night.

Positive: The location is great. Kitchen is a good size. Very good value for the money. generally clean and tidy.

Negative: A simple gesture of a bottle of milk and a carton of Orange juice on arrival would have been lovely. Also some cooking oil. A decent sized pan for pasta and a larger frying pan would be useful Maybe it is time for the owners to install decent showers in the bathrooms.

Positive: The location was perfect, it was a great size and perfect for what we were looking for as a base to explore the Peak District.

Negative: The water pressure in the shower wasn’t great and we managed one bath for the kids but the water wouldn’t run warm enough for a second bath.

Positive: Nice accommodation in the centre of one of the Derbyshire Dale's loveliest villages. Excellent location for some great walks including the nearby Tissington Trail.

Negative: The showers in the appt lacked pressure so an improvement there would be welcome.
