Positive: Was very cosy & comfortable & spotless. The hosts Christine & David very kind our welcome was bottle of Prosecco fruit & snacks. Lodge looked upon the river beautiful.

Positive: Nice lodge in handy location for work. Plenty of parking space.

Negative: In pick up truck. Not a wide entrance to the mobile park from the main road, and they had left a large sign in the middle, making it very difficult to turn in, and not very safe during rush hour. Gates are locked between 5pm and 9am. We were given a remote device on the keys, but nowhere to leave this, as we were leaving before 9am, so had to run back to the lodge to deposit keys. Need a key deposit box at site exit.

Positive: Everything!! place is beautiful- spacious for a lodge- kitchen has everything you need, bathroom is beautiful, dining area is fab, and it’s on the water!! We were fortunate to have a glorious day so we had a bbq on the decking! we took a walk round the river where my friend did some cold water dipping! sitting in the decking looking out was just lovely! David and Christine are brilliants hosts, nothing was too much trouble and just made the whole process so easy! we are already planning our return

Negative: nothing! Everything you need is in there and I’m quite sure if you needed anything David would pop round with it!

Summary: Excellent! 10/10 we will definitely be returning!

Positive: Location was lovely, very well maintained and view from lodge lovely, a nice quiet location. Lodge was very clean, had everything you could think of you would need being away from home, comfy beds, the outside area is lovely and it’s a bit of a sun trap and yes the sun did shine. Met the owners who were lovely my sister left shoes behind and luckily we don’t live too far away and Christine met up with my husband to return them. We all enjoyed the lodge and may return in the future.

Negative: Don’t have anything bad to say about lodge one of our party did say could do with more cups as only four cups..but she did break one which owner was really good about and just said these things happen.
