The comfortable villa is set in its own enclosed grounds of 2500 m2 with stunning panoramic views of mountains and hills. The house offers plenty of natural privacy through beautiful landscaped garden to the south.
The villa is rated with four stars and has a large pool with spacious terrace for sun worshipers. From the living room two separate doors will lead you directly onto the large terrace with rustic roof. On the terrace you'll find a wonderful dining table of Belgian blue-stone.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay in this wonderful villa. The pool is amazing, and what a fabulous view from the terrace we will definitely miss that! The check in process was very straightforward and helpful. The area is stunning and there is lots to do if you like walking, cycling or canoeing. Day trips to Béziers and Carcassonne are also possible. The shop in the village is also worth a mention, it’s amazing and has everything you will need. Definitely 10/10.

Summary: We spent a week in this wonderful house. Set into the hill you get a brilliant view across the valley. The facilities are first class and include a pool that is very welcome during the hot summer days of August. Great location for exploring the area. Car is a must. We hired bikes locally and you can cycle along a well maintained cycle path that runs for miles connecting all the local villages. If you like, walking, cycling and exploring then this is a great location - if you don't you can still enjoy just chilling by the pool and admiring the great views in all directions. Pictures don't do it justice - thoroughly recommend.

Summary: The house is superbly laid out with everything supplied. Johann and on site Yaffa were really helpful and accommodating. Pool is beautifully maintained and a god send in the heat of the day. Lots to do in the area and access to the coast.

Summary: We can thoroughly recommend this property having enjoyed a fantastic week in this lovely home. The photos of the property are lovely but the reality is better. The owners have created a beautiful place to relax and enjoy “a home from home “ amongst the spectacular scenery. It is tempting just to enjoy the comfort of the house, terrace and pool area but the village centre is just an easy walk for eating out . There is also a very well stocked convenience store in the village for any essentials . The area offers great walking and cycling opportunities for all levels and the garage in the village offers cycle hire. Within a short distance there is a centre for canoes/kayaks should you fancy navigating a stretch of the local river. Communication with the owners has been great all along and the local property manager could not have been more helpful. Hopefully we shall be lucky enough to return to enjoy this house again before too long!

Summary: This is the second time we have been here and throughly enjoyed it. The villa has everything you need and all at a high standard. The village has a great atmosphere and if you like walking/cycling/touring, this place has it! Looking forward to our next visit.

Summary: The good feeling started the moment you have to drive towards the highest point in de steep dead-end road. The view of the mountains behind the house are just stunning. Parking on the ample parking place next to our temporary home was easy and the hand-over lady was already waiting for us. This is not a holiday cottage, but a real house. Nicely decorated and well equiped, but most of all very spacious. When you are on the sunny main terrace overlooking the green mountains towards the St. Chinian wine region, you can only enjoy the spectacular view. Even in these last weeks of September the temperature duting the day went up to 25 degr C. Delicious! Drinking our wine and dining al fresco was nice, as long as it was before 7pm. First days the pool was, ahumm, somewhat of a cooling down experience, but later in the week water warmed up to a more comfortable temperature. Really nice. The small Vival shop around the corner has a much larger collection of fresh food than you would expect from the out-side. Good collection of great goat cheeses. A small pain shop is next to it. But for the best choices of bread or meat , take a short drive to Olargue. Walking the "Green Road" to Olargue is easy to do within the hour. The Gorde D'Heric towards the end of the Gorge is a more heroic event. Tough walk, but of beautiful scenery. Is short, we enjoyed it very much and would like to try it also in the summer season. Summary: We chose this villa because it looked comfortable and was centrally located for our explorations of this part of the Languedoc. As it turned out, it was so much more. The weather was warm so we swam in the pool and ate on the terrace each day, and felt completely relaxed as we took in the view and watched the swallows seemingly performing aerobatics for our amusement. The location was perfect for walks in the nearby national park, and drives further afield to Beziers, Narbonne and the Canal du Midi. The house is spacious, very comfortable and well-equipped. The owner and the local contact were very helpful and welcoming. All in all, a very pleasant place for a relaxing holiday.

Summary: Just arrived from the best vacation ever in France. The house is airy and light, lovely living room with doors direct to the wonderful terrace. Bedrooms are also spacious. Kitchen is well equipped The terrace is a gem, with many comfortable seatings and the big pool was just wonderful. The only minus, was the strange layout in toilets and bathroom. No toilet in the bathroom and no sink in toilets ... But this were tiny small issues, because the setting of this house is just stunning. The views are just pure love! Surrounded by the Caroux mountains. Breathtaking! To be able to wake up to these views every morning was just heaven. We have visited Languedoc several times, we have been staying by the sea, in small and big villages, luxury homes, modern homes, old ones. But this area and this lovely home with breathtaking views, was definitely the best of all! We'll be back ... :)
