Quiet and traditional sea view villa, 5 minutes walk to a pebble beach and shops of Bastia.
This is a perfect location to explore the Cap Corse - as you will be avoiding all traffic - and the Northern part of Corsica with its quieter beaches even in the high season.
The house is very spacious and can accommodate up to 2 families of 4.
You will be in a quiet residential area overlooking the sea. You will be 5 minutes away by foot to all kind of shops, a marina, the ferry port and small pebble beaches (one has a life guard and a shower in the high season). Add 5 to 10 more minutes to your walk and you'll be in the centre of Bastia on the Place Saint Nicolas. Jump into your car and you are 10 Minutes away to a long sandy beach (with floats in the high season).
The house is on two levels with two bedrooms and one bathroom on each level. It is spacious and the many glass doors make the house very light.
The view on the Mediterranean is stunning. You will be looking at the islands of Capraïa, Elba and Pianosa on a clear day and the boats that go off and arrive. The sun rises over the Mediterranean are not to be missed. Have an early breakfast on the ceramic bistro table on the balcony and enjoy the sunrise! Grab one of the sun loungers and lay in the sun or the shade and relax.

Summary: We, a family of five had a gread stay in mid April. The apartment is great for larger groups, it has all you need and is near the center of Bastia. Its close to a large grocery store, which is very handy, also from here you have fairly good communications to get around the island. Good things to know, no wifi, which kids might have opinions about. Most tv channels where in french. The contact with Odile was great and easy and friendly. I can truly recommend this stay, even a small beach near by and some restaurants(avoid captain cook).

Summary: This is a lovely house, well equipped and with plenty of room. The two East facing balconies catch the sun-rise but are shaded later on when the day gets hot. The house is located in a quiet and attractive residential area although traffic on the main road out of Bastia can be heard. It is an easy drive from Bastia airport, in particular due to the road tunnel that goes under the centre of Bastia! A good selection of shops, including a large supermarket, and cafés are just a few minutes walk away and there are plenty of restaurants in the lovely old town which is about a 20 minute walk. There are also a few restaurants in the Port de Toga marina to make a change from walking into the old town. Overall we had a lovely stay and would recommend this property to anyone wanting to explore Bastia, Cap Corse and the North of Corsica.

Summary: My friends and I had a beautiful time in this house. It is lovely and comfortable. The outside space is very nice, and we could relax, eat and drink looking at the sea. The nearest beach is only 5 minutes away by foot and there is a big supermarket and other kind of shops (pharmacy, bakery, optician, cafes, souvenirs shops, restaurants....) just down the street. The city center is only 10 minutes away by foot. Bastia is a wonderful city, plenty of restaurants and cafes, beautiful ports and streets and nice views. It is also easy to visit the whole island from here. Just 7 km away, there is a nice little town, Erbalunga, where we can have a nice walk, or just have a drink in one of the street cafes at the end of the day. The owner is extremely attentive and friendly, answering immediately to any questions. We hope to come back soon again, and we are already recommending this acommodation to other friends and family members!
