Blue Waves is a detached bungalow, one of a small number of properties in Southway, about seven minutes walking distance of the attractive sandy beach at Trevone Bay. The bungalow sits on a good sized plot with four bedrooms and an open plan kitchen, dining and living area. In the last six months, it has undergone a major extension which has added a further bedroom, 2nd bathroom, and utility room to the house. There is gas-fired central heating, double glazed windows and also a woodburner. The garden comprises private enclosed lawns gardens to the front and side - the sun rises over the front of the house and sets by the side, guaranteeing lots of bright light! The garden is enclosed by mature hedges, and has a metal gate to driveway, attached single garage and parking for 2 cars. Trevone has a spectacular beach, lovely cliff walks, beach shop and café, plus a Rick Stein’s farmshop only three minutes’ walk away from Blue Waves – newspapers, croissants, fresh bread, local meat and fish produce can be purchased here. The stunning Harlyn Bay is within easy walking distance via the coastal path, and the famous Harbour town of Padstow is only 1 ½ miles away. It is famous for many quality restaurants, excellent shopping, art shops, as well as amenities, fishing and other water sports. Blue Waves is toasty warm, extremely comfortable, and has a bath and a lovely hot shower!
While the bungalow accommodates 8 guests, we are a dog-friendly family so are happy with the idea of a well-behaved ninth guest with a waggy tail…!

Summary: Enjoyed another great week with family in Trevone. We were very lucky with the weather and able to make the most of the fantastic location. It was our third stay at Blue Waves, the property is well set up and has everything we need. Check in communication was prompt and accurate as ever.

Summary: Blue Waves is definitely one of the best holiday homes we’ve stayed in - and we’ve stayed in quite a few over the years! Firstly, perfectly located to explore North Cornwall ☑️ The house itself is just beautiful, everything you need, great spotlessly clean ☑️ plenty of room and comfy seating and beds ☑️ wonderful shower angarden area for dogs or kids to play ☑️wonderful power shower and loads of hot water ☑️really can’t fault a thing and will definitely stay again if we’re down in that part of the country . Thanks so much to the owner for flexibility, and great comms. The icing on the cake was great weather ☀️😎 all in all, a fab week!

Summary: We had a fantastic stay...the property was just as described and had everything we could possibly need!! It felt homely and cosy and we couldn't wait to get back there after our days out exploring beautiful Cornwall. Communication with Tyrone was quick and simple...as was check-in. We will definitely be back!!

Summary: Property very nice although none of us were very keen on the walk to the beach but we did swim there every day. We were disappointed that there was no “Welcome Pack” containing leaflets and advice on attractions. Nor was there any essential local produce of milk, bread, butter etc that was mentioned in previous reviews and the instructions for using the domestic appliances were not there. This was all communicated to the host who apologised for the omissions. These things did not affect our holiday in any way but they are items that I would expect in this price range.

Summary: The house and garden was a perfect retreat over the recent half term. The house was really comfortable for our stay, the location to the beach provided a fantastic evening walk with our dog. With the local golf courses and restaurants providing plenty of day time activities…..not forgetting the spectacular bbeaches, bays and coves.

Summary: We had a very enjoyable stay in Blue Waves. The accommodation was spotless, well decorated and roomy. The kitchen was well-equipped with essential supplies provided (bread, tea, butter etc) There was a beautiful sandy beach 15 minutes walk away and great access to the coastal footpath. There was a 9 to 5 convenience store 5 minutes walk away open 7 days a week. Trevone village provided a very peaceful base to visit Port Isaac, Padstow etc. Checking into the property was straightforward and Tyrone was a helpful host via quickly returned text messages.
