This lovely, well-appointed, two-bedroom, 2 ½ bath "Old Florida" home sits on the quiet, peaceful shores of the Gulf coast just a one-hour drive south of Tallahassee, Florida, the state capital. This meticulously-maintained home features two living room spaces, rocking chair screen porch with al fresco dining, open kitchen/living room with fireplace, large-screen Smart TV, and reliable fiber-optic Internet. Kitchen has all the features of home and stocked with essentials: Cooking spices and oils, dish soaps, Cascade, coffee filters, garbage bags, and paper products. Beach toys, chairs, and umbrellas provided.

Summary: Our group had a wonderful time. We like to cook, and found the kitchen to be the best rental kitchen we've used--sharp knives and plenty of dishware! The beds are comfortable, bath towels plush (and plentiful). It seems like every small detail has been thought of in this beautiful home. In addition, my Dad had a blast fishing off the nearby dock.

Summary: Great place to stay if you are looking for a quiet, relaxing trip. There were times we were the only ones on the beach! We saw little stingrays, hermit crabs, sea turtles, and dolphins. We brought some travel rods and spent quite a bit of time fishing off the pier that is right by the house. The house itself was beautiful - very clean and comfortable. We will definitely be back!

Summary: We just returned from a great week at this beachfront home and had a great experience. The house is beautiful - it feels recently renovated with modern amenities while maintaining a cozy beach house feel. The comfortable open spaces upstairs and down made hanging out together as a family easy. The house had everything we needed—a well-stocked kitchen, plenty of towels for the beach, Wi-Fi, satellite TV, and comfortable beds. The location is lovely. It's right on a quiet, family-friendly beach with soft white sand and beautiful ocean views from the house. Perfect for lots of beach walks - even at high tide there was plenty of beach for a long walk. The area feels peaceful and residential - not loud or touristy.
