Positive: This is literally the best hotel experience my family and I have ever had. The owner and her family were so kind and accommodating, and there was real passion and love on display with all the animals and facilities. Speaking of animals, the zoo aspect of the resort was such an original and charming aspect of Denen Resort. We spent hours touring the facility, feeding animals, petting the donkeys and ponies, and learning more about the wildlife present. The dinner our host prepared for us was outstanding, and my wife and daughter had a terrific time swimming in the pool, surrounded by animals and foliage.

Negative: I didn't like that we could only stay for one day. I wish we had at least three nights in this amazing place.

Positive: Location was good ,close to khon Kaen without the big city noise. Easy departure to Loei and the Mekong River.

Summary: Fon and her husband are the nicest people in the world. She made us feel like family.

Positive: a personal tour in the minizoo by the host. Dinner and breakfast. the cottage was perfect.

Negative: the pool needs cleaning. dirty water and slippery bottom. prepare to make a phone call when arriving, becourse the gate is closed.

And when moon stretches it’s mantle over the Denen Resort , when the squeeling of tropical animals gradually dies down, Denen Resort prepares to show it’s most versatile side. Denen Resort is a perfect blend of cultural heritage and modernism. Denen Resort is a must-visit place for every adventurer, traveller and tourist of all ages. That was the reason that I wanted to visit this jungle-like place, a desert in the hustle and bustle of the city traffic and I was pleasantly surprised....... In Latin there is an expression: “ Mens Sana in Corpore Santo” which means:” a healty mind in a healthy body”. This certainly comes alife with the healthy cooking of Fon, owner and your kitchen host. She grows her own vegetables and fruits and serves rice from her own ricefields. Fon and her husband have been building this Paradise Resort for 20 years with hard work and dedication. Since last year this hotel has completely changed into what it’s now: peacefull, adventurous , comfortable, unique , traditional, well equipped, different, quiet, with personal attention and service with a smile. The minute I entered the Denen hotel it was “ open sesame” : the doors were openend for me by a nice young man, Audi, the son of the owners who studied Hospitality & Tourism Management and hey, did I hear Verdi’s Opera AIDA?” Attention: from al staff to me as a guest, feeling very special Interest: genuine interest in what was important for me, Desire : my needs, my wishes to assist me and show me what true hospitality means Action: giving me the perfect service belonging to what I would call Jungle Resort. I could hear the rumble of the jungle every evening and every morning when I woke up by the singing of the tropical birds.
