Positive: Be sure to have dinner in the hotel’s restaurant; the food was excellent and our hosts were so welcoming. The proximity to the Sacro Monte di Varallo was a plus. The recent renovation is well done.

Negative: We had some difficulty accessing the property by car: the streets are narrow, and parking was at a modest distance. The stairs to our room were steep and there was no elevator. For those who are fit, this would not be an issue! Our room was small.

Positive: Although the hotel was almost closed due to vacation which we were not aware of while booking, we were very nicely treated by the Senior head. Unfortunately, the restaurant was already closed which disappointed us. However, she offered and prepared a three course dinner for us whichvwe liked.

Positive: The hotel is located in an old house that was well renovated. The room was taken care for daily and was extremely clean. Breakfast was nice - home made cookies and cakes, coffee made to order, cheese, toast, etc. The hotel has its own restaurant, serving top quality local products and dishes. Very nice view to a green valley (we saw a deer while having dinner). Lots of parking (3 minutes walk away). The hotel is about 15 minutes walk from the center of Varallo.
