The Anchorage Waterfront Retreat provides fully self-contained deluxe accommodation on the banks of the Huon River with unsurpassed panoramic views over the Huon River to the Wellington Range in the distance.
The Retreat provides fully self-contained deluxe accommodation. The upstairs area with stunning river and mountain views features the large open plan living and dining room that leads to the deck, a fully equipped kitchen, spacious master bedroom with king size bed, full size bathroom, separate toilet and laundry.
For a second couple or family with 1 or 2 older children, the second king bedroom and bathroom is downstairs and overlooks the pool and the panoramic river views. For infants and young children a cot or roll-away bed is available in the upstairs master bedroom. Please advise age of children when making your booking.
A reservation for 2 guests will only have access to the upstairs master bedroom. For a party of 2 single guests requiring the use of both bedrooms, please book as 3 guests for the second bedroom to be made available.

Summary: This is a lovely accommodation with beautiful water views from the living and bedroom areas. The hosts were so nice to give us eggs, apple crisp and cookies upon arrival - what a nice touch. The space was roomy, clean and newly finished. For us the location was perfect as we like to be "out of the way" and not in busy towns. We would recommend this rental to our friends!

Summary: Wonderful views. We really enjoyed our stay and found the rental to be clean inviting and relaxing. It was close to everything we wanted to do. Really glad that she’s furnished robes to wear as it did get a little cooler in the evenings.

Summary: We used this excellent accommodation to explore the area and climbed Hartz Peak, went to the Tahune Airwalk and walked from Cockle Bay to South Cape Bay. This is a great location and very comfortable.
