The bedroom is also equipped with Desk with Pull out Laptop Tray, Leather Chair, full length mirror and high quality furniture. Hospitality Tray is supplied with Tea, Coffee, Cookies and Bottled Water. The Beds are Dressed with High Quality Cotton Sheets, Comfy Duvets and Plenty of Pillows. Branded Complimentary Shampoo, Shower Gel, Body Lotion and Hand Soap are also provided. An Iron and Ironing Board is Located in the Dining / Kitchen Area.
The Lawns Guest House is a beautiful Georgian property situated in the heart of Retford. A ten minute walk is all it takes to reach Retford town centre, which boasts a variety of retail shops, coffee shops, Post Office, places to eat and a Farmers Market once a month.
Our rooms have been renovated to a high standard with all rooms featuring luxury high quality cotton bedding. Complimentary bottled water on arrival and Tea & Coffee facilities are available throughout.

Summary: Was attending an event at the Elms Hotel so decided to make a weekend of it as had never been to Retford. The Lawns was the closest accommodation to my event but was also convenient for the town centre and the train station.

Summary: Having left the Retford area in 1970 I needed a place to stay overnight in readiness for a family reunion. Scouring the websites I found The Lawns Guest House, which was unknown to me, but it sounded very suitable for my needs. I booked at midnight the day before I travelled and was impressed by the smoothness of everything from start to finish: a friendly greeting, an upgrade to a bigger room, the offer to carry my suitcase, a clean and comfortable bedroom, the spotless kitchen. Try it!
