Beautiful deluxe waterfront condominium, located slightly north of town, within an easy walk to everything. Inexpensive taxis are also readily available. This non-smoking, air conditioned unit (Cantamar 202) is located nine steps up from the sidewalk. It offers a private double balcony with table and chairs for your morning breakfast, and chaise lounge. There is a beautiful freshwater pool, with shallow area for little ones, man-made beach, and the ocean right at your doorstep, with some of the finest snorkeling/diving opportunities right outside your back door. The unit has two large bedrooms. The waterfront master bedroom has a king-size bed, and the jungle-view second bedroom has two double-size beds that will sleep another four people. The ocean views are intoxicating!
Two remodeled bathrooms have everything you could need. Second bathroom has a full bathtub/shower. Master bath has a double-size shower. There is also the double jacuzzi in the master bedroom overlooking the ocean.
Only nine units share a private swimming pool and beach, with palapas for shade. Maid service is provided twice per week, with towels and linens provided. Beach towels are also provided. The kitchen is fully furnished with a breakfast bar, and the dining room table is extra large. Free long distance telephone incoming or outgoing to the United States or Canada (please keep calls short) and free high-speed wireless internet are also included (please bring your own laptop) along with satellite TV, DVR, stereo, Blu Ray/DVD player, Blue Ray and DVD movies to enjoy. There is complimentary snorkel gear for guests. Child friendly: puzzles, cartoon videos and sand toys on premises. Makeup mirrors in each bedroom and hair dryers for guest use. We even provide beach towels for your use.
A note on our TV in Mexico. We have upgraded this unit (the only rental unit in this building that has this) with SKY TV. This is a lot like Direct TV in the States. We even have the NFL channel and the channels are in English. With an included DVR, you can record what you like and watch it later when you are hunkering down for the evening. Great for sports lovers -- we have ESPN too, and for movie watchers - most of the channels you get in the USA so you won't miss your favorite shows.
Cozumel is a diver's paradise, consistently rated as one of the best diving destinations in the world. We can book your diving or tour packages at the best prices with the best operators.
Cozumel is made for shopping, with consistent bargains, as well as many excellent restaurants. A detailed information book regarding the condominium and island activities will be provided to you upon booking. There is a local management company that can also help you with anything you may need while vacationing there.
An aside to all potential renters: Mexico is absolutely fantastic for dental treatment. If you need anything extensive done, this is the place for you. Ask me if you would like some info on this...I have only positive things to say about them. Just a wonderful place to go for dental work, save lots of money, quick extensive treatment...the best! They even have overhead projectors that will take you on a tour of Dubai, Norway, or other places while you are getting treatment done. Can't beat it.

Summary: This is a perfect property for folks who need a two bedroom Condo just north of downtown and the airport. Very well supplied and Diane the owner is very responsive ideas for excursions during your stay. Would highly recommend this location.

Summary: We have stayed at dozens of VRBO properties. This one is one is top 5. Everything is as described and is amazing. Some windy weather when we got there. If this happens, my advice is to go to the other side of the island. The beaches there were perfect for swimming and beach activities. Would definitely go back. Perfect property for snorkeling and walking to town.

Summary: It is a beautiful spot. Check in was a bit confusing which is probably because of the fact that we arrived on a holiday (Christmas) nonetheless I would recommend this spot for people looking for a great place in Cozumel.

Summary: Cantamar 202 Is the perfect retreat for your stay in Cozumel. Diane is an exceptional host who truly cares about your time spent at her condo. We will be staying here when we return next year. The condo is a short walk to town. The grocery store MEGA is on the south side of town so we took a taxi which we hailed in front of the condo. They drive by all day and evening. The outside is immaculate. There is a man who keeps the place spotless. The pool is crystal clear, never any trash around. Snorkeling is ridiculous it’s so good right from the property. The inside was spotless. Diane has a housekeeper that comes by. The kitchen is small but it gets the job down. The bedrooms were comfortable and the air conditioning was cold. Most importantly for me the place was quiet at night. No pool side parties or music blearing. We came to scuba and the boat leaves at 7:30. I’m up early enjoying my coffee on the balcony with the million dollar view.

Summary: This condo is fantastic. It’s a spacious 2 bedroom right on the water. My husband and I came to Cozumel for our anniversary. We’ve been coming to the island for over 20 years so we are very familiar with locations and have stayed all over the island, from AI resorts to private condos on the north side and south, and this place is definitely one of the best for many reasons. The condo itself is really nice and Diane has literally everything you might need. She has a full kitchen, a laundry room area with washer and dryer, plenty of towels, snorkels, movies….everything! The complex is small (which we prefer), and the location is perfect. If you stay here you really don’t need a car. Although we had a car, every night we chose to walk to town to visit restaurants and to walk off our dinner. It’s an easy short walk to town and being outside watching the sunset was perfect. One night after dinner we walked around the plaza and enjoyed live music, and seeing a group of teens practicing their traditional Mexican dances. The Cantemar complex, where the condo is located, is very nice. They have a nice size pool, shaded areas to sit and read or relax, and direct access to snorkel. We traveled all around the island and snorkeled from different locations throughout our stay, as we normally do when we are in Cozumel. Finally we decided to jump in right in front of the condo, and wow! We should have been snorkeling here from this spot all along, now we know, it’s fantastic! Diane has snorkeling gear, so we used her fins which was great (because it’s one less thing to pack in our suitcases). This condo is definitely a fabulous find and we will be back soon. Thank you for sharing your place, we really enjoyed it.

Summary: The pictures of this property do it absolutely NO justice! Diane was wonderful, and it’s clear that part of her personality resides in this condo! The place is fully stocked, but also so close to amazing sunset palapa restaurants that we only made snacks in the kitchen. We didn’t feel the need to pay for a snorkel excursion, when we could just jump off the back porch anytime of day or night! We have used VRBO in many countries, and have yet to repeat a stay in one, but we are already contemplating our next trip to this delightful unit and complex!
