Positive: One night there was all it took for us to fall in love with the place. Such a warm and friendly welcome, and a wonderfully quiet room. We also treated ourselves to the spa - a lovely pool, staff attentive without being over the top, and we left feeling completely refreshed. Breakfast was excellent, with a good variety and plenty of fresh produce, but the real highlight was the garden: a peaceful green haven that beautifully complements the restoration of the old convent, so nice to see history and comfort sitting so well together. For dinner we tried the FRAC restaurant, dining beneath a 16th-century fresco is an experience in itself, and when the food’s delicious and the service spot-on. Really impressive overall, we’ll definitely be back!

Positive: I stayed at Della Calza Retreat and Spa for one night, just a few days after it opened, and honestly, it was a really lovely experience. The place is brand new, and you can tell there are still a few small details being finished, but that didn’t take away from how beautiful and peaceful it feels. The staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely wanted me to have a pleasant time. The spa was definitely the highlight. It was truly exceptional, the atmosphere was calm, the place is thoughtfully designed, and the treatments were excellent. I left feeling genuinely recharged and relaxed. Its remarkable how in the heart of Florence you can find a spot so peaceful, modern yet still retaining the Italian charm. I can't wait to come back and see what it will be like when it is fully up and running.
