Upscale Holiday Rental home located seconds away from a very quiet beach in Sussex. Only 1.5 hours drive from central London or 1 hour 20 minutes by train from Victoria. Convenient for Goodwood Revival and Goodwood events.
The house is situated on a private sea estate which is close (5 minutes walk) to East Preston village. The village offers local amenities including a gastro pub, local restaurants, convenience stores and bars.
This is a lovely seaside retreat offering privacy and calm - perfect for family gatherings or celebratory weekends - it is spacious and welcoming with comfortable interiors. Located just a stones throw from the beach perfect for morning swims, building sandcastles and long costal and beach walks.
There is a large garden to the rear with seating for 8 people and a barbecue. To the front of the house is a patio area great for sunbathing and enjoying a morning coffee.
The house has an open plan feel including a large kitchen/dining room which has seating for 10 people and overlooks the front patio. The utility room has a washing machine and tumble dryer. The charming sitting room is open plan leading through to a formal dining room/games room.
The 3 upstairs bedrooms at the front of the house offer sea views and are all spacious with attractive interiors. An extra bed or cot can easily be accommodated in all bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms have an ensuite bathroom and the third is served by a family bathroom. In addition there is a downstairs cloakroom. The fourth bedroom is a bunk bedroom downstairs and has a small double on the bottom and a single on the top - in many instances as the accessibility is good it has been used by our guests in wheelchairs.
Located in a beautiful part of Sussex there are plenty of local activities and places of interest to visit. These include all seaside sports and visits to local villages and towns. There is also a local vineyard offering group tastings and tours.

Summary: Good check in. Minor glitch with the hot water but sorted by the evening. The house was very comfortable and spacious, perfect for our extended family to stay and enjoy celebrations for a significant birthday. The weather was kind to us over the entire weekend, so we were all able to relax and enjoy the garden, including our Whippet.

Summary: We enjoyed a lovely stay at Mansard House, which is a beautiful property just a 2 minute walk from the beach. The house has everything you could need and more besides, with four large bedrooms and plenty of room for guests. It has a wonderful back garden, and also a private front garden, and is set on a lovely quiet road amongst other equally lovely properties. I would recommend Mansard House to anyone looking for a large family property.

Summary: We had such an amazing time at Mansard House - lots of beautifully decorated space to hang out and relax - the owner (Sally), was very accommodating and made our stay extremely enjoyable so much so that we will definitely stay again! The thoughtfulness and hospitality was very welcome after a long haul flight (being welcomed with a few essentials and a nice chilled bottle of white wine was unexpected and very much appreciated!)... Ross (manager) was very understanding when my flight got a little delayed and flexed on the check in time. We made full use of the bbq and outdoor space - 5 adults and 2 children. All in all a fab weekend break to celebrate my mum’s birthday - thank you Sally!

Summary: Sally has thought of every detail - fluffy towels, fully equipped kitchen, welcome pack including a chilled bottle of wine on arrival. This area is stunning anyway in a private estate metres from a beautiful secluded beach. We had a perfect few days and would highly recommend 😎😀

Summary: Bright and airy, easy living, minutes from the beach and plenty of space. This was just what we were after for half term for our family of 5 plus a dog. We had a great time and would definitely go back.

Summary: Our family of five stayed at Mansard House in July and August 2016. We were lucky enough to have near perfect weather and spent much of our time on the beach or hanging out in the large and lovely garden (perfectly safe and enclosed for our pupppy too!), but this is a great house whatever the weather, with a well-stocked kitchen, comfortable sitting room and luxuriously lovely big beds and bathroom. Sally was a pleasure to deal with and the location was ideal for us: we shall return! Annie & family
