Positive: Very spacious and clean older home - so much charm without being overwhelmed by cluttered antiques. Side porch was nice for sitting with coffee and chatting, listening to the birds. Has a washer and dryer, and many needed items while on vacation. Walking distance to a cute little grocery store and downtown. Plenty of towels and cleaning supplies. Snacks and goodies provided in the kitchen. Good water pressure even upstairs! Didn’t get to use the pergola, but it looked adorable with the lights.

Negative: Noise from the highway and air conditioner on the side porch was a little disappointing. Lack of outlets in the bedroom - be sure to bring some extension cords! Air conditioners inside were pretty loud.. clocks chiming at every hour past 10 pm and starting at 3 am were very hard to deal with. Clocks not chiming at the same time added to the lack of sleep. Only 2 rolls of tissue in the bathrooms was not enough for a three day visit with a family. Lights outside on a timer were frustrating for my parents trying to sleep - too much light coming in at night.

Positive: Beautiful home with all the amenities and comforts provided. Very near to the Crater of Diamonds State Park and other recreation sites in the area. The hosts were exceptional and provided help with any questions one could ask. We were there for the eclipse and were in the path of totally! I highly recommend this property!! We had an amazing experience, totally enjoyed staying here!! JJ

Positive: I am not prone to hyperbole, but this was absolutely the best vacation accommodation I have ever had. The house felt like home from the minute we walked in the door. Everything a guest could ask for, and much more, was there and ready for us. The house is extremely restful if you are looking for a peaceful getaway, and was a perfect 'home' base for us as we were planning on visiting several places in the area. Evenings were spent in the large screened 3 season room which is very comfortably furnished. The bathrooms are well stocked as was, amazingly, the kitchen! The owners assure you have EVERY comfort of home!

Negative: We did not find one thing that wasn't perfect.
