Nestled just steps from the soft, golden sands of the meandering Outer Banks beaches, this charming beach cottage offers the perfect coastal retreat. With four inviting bedrooms and two full baths, it comfortably accommodates families seeking a relaxing getaway. The fully-stocked kitchen is ideal for preparing home-cooked meals, while the open dining/living room provides a great space for family gatherings. Unwind on the deck after a day of sunbathing, fishing or exploring, and enjoy the salty, ocean breeze while watching the sun sink down slowly over the Sound. The deck is also perfect for watching the beach come to life in the morning with the soft pinks and oranges of the sunrise over the ocean.
The cottage is located on a lovely, quiet street that dead-ends at the beach. It's located in South Nags Head, just past Milepost 20. Our location is the best of both worlds with restaurants, shops, grocery stores, golf courses, state parks, fishing piers and other local attractions only a 10-15 minute drive from the house, while having the peaceful coastal sanctuary for shorebirds, sea turtles, dolphins and more, just steps from the front door. You'll love the serenity of slow-paced beach living!
Don't forget about the magical atmosphere of the Outer Banks at night! You will be mesmerized by the dazzling canopy of stars overhead, unimpeded by city lights. For some added fun, take a flashlight down to the beach at night to watch the ghost crabs scuttle across the sand as they search for food under the cover of night.

Summary: Location & property were fantastic. I would have appreciated a more clear outline of what was not included before booking. They provided linens.....but no towels, no laundry detergent or dishwasher detergent! I was very disapointing to only realize this after i had i booked. READ THE VERY FINE PRINT

Summary: Booked this last minute for a much needed little break, and we could not have been happier. The booking process was very simple. The email Leslie sent with neighborhood and restaurant info was great. Check in process went smooth. The house was so spacious and comfortable...wish I had that mattress at home. The nautical decor was so nice. Less than a minute walk to the beach access at the end of the block. Adorable welcome treat. Summary: We were absolutely in love with the house and its location. The description listed is spot on. We will definitely look into getting this house again if we can pull the family together for another trip to NC. Sitting on the deck at night, listening to the waves was one of my favorite things. It was all around a great experience.

Summary: Very convenient access to beach, life guards on this section, kitchen well stocked, lot's of games for kids & family. Furniture in living area comfortable. King bed very comfortable, bunk beds are for children (I am 5'8" & could not sleep in them) and the bunk beds are in a separate part of the house next to the kitchen. Child would wake up if we needed something in the kitchen. Hose & shower outside were big helps controlling the amount of sand in the house. Huge washer & dryer, several beach chairs & boogie boards all under the house. If you need groceries plan on a good 20-30 minute ride due to traffic/flood area. Be sure to get reservations for dinner, if restaurant accepts them. Most do not and many do not have online ordering. We loved the area & the house. It was very comfortable for 4 adults & 1 child.

Summary: I would highly recommend this cozy home. Located on a quiet street, yet close to restaurants, grocery store and plenty of shopping. Living space is all on one level that is very clean with comfortable beds. Leslie was quick to respond when we contacted her while there. A perfect choice for your vacation home. Summary: My family and I really enjoyed our stay. We really appreciated the extra toiletries and kitchen supplies. We had a little extra of everything which was much appreciated.I would recommend staying here. It was also close to Manteo and and some other nice locations with good food and coffee options.
