Summary: The pictures make it look a bit nicer than it was in person. But still very nice, and we had a great stay.

Summary: This place was great for the most part. Super clean. Had everything that you need for a nice stay. A bit more rustic in person, than what the pictures online show. It would be nice if the hot tub was working. It is not really near beach access as the description indicates. The firepit area was awesome, but I think it would benefit the homeowners and guest if it were upgraded to a gas/propane one, for ease of use, safety, and the smell of smoke in the house was a bit much after burning a fire. The pool table is a great addition but hard to use, as there is not much room to actually shoot the pool sticks without hitting the walls or a window. We would stay here again though. The property was very well kept, clean, and quiet, and we really enjoyed the fact that there is no one right next to you.

Summary: Well located and decent layout. Th pool table was nice, although there was dog hair all over it and there really was not enough room to use a full cue as it is a very tight fit in the laundry room. There was enough property to play pickleball. The floor looked dirty when we arrived and we had to mop the floor when we came in and the mop water was black after we mopped. There were only 4 rolls of single ply toilet paper for a group of 6 for 4 days and that was insufficient. There were only 3 dishwasher packs for 4 days also, that was also insufficient. We had to buy more of both. The ice maker was clogged with an ice blockage that we had to break up to use it.

Summary: This house was just the right size for our family of 4, with plenty of space for everyone to relax and hang out. Added bonus was all the space on that massive couch! We didn’t use the TV, just sat on the couch to read and chat. I know there was a previous review that didn’t enjoy all the greenery surrounding the house, but we absolutely LOVED IT! It made sitting outside very nice, being surrounded by nature like that. While we didn’t hear any dogs barking (per the owner’s description), we did hear a few of the roosters who live near by. Frequently. Of course, one morning, we also heard a nearby argument between a wild turkey and some crows, so there’s quite a bit of neighborhood “wildlife” around! The house’s location made it easy to get to all the activities we planned on (especially the marina and state parks), and was close enough to the city without being too close. We look forward to coming back to visit again sometime!

Summary: Sea Spray Chalet is set in a quiet secluded spot which was great for us! The house is bigger than it looks from the outside and has everything you can think of for a fun family getaway. Huge, comfy couch; huge tv with DVD player; tons of board games, a pool table & dart board for lots of fun; great set up rooms; a kitchen that has everything you could possibly need; and my grandkids absolutely loved the heated bathroom floor! Huge deck with a fire pit is also great! We didn’t get to use it because it rained the whole time - but would be so great for s’mores or just to sit around & enjoy. My only complaints were that the cleaning needs to be a bit more detailed and the towels and tablecloth are well beyond needing replaced. Regardless, we loved the house and had a great weekend.
