Positive: Location is great, best view from the village. Staff was kind.

Negative: Equipment of the room was quite poor: the bay window is very heavy to open to access the terrace. Shower drain was too weak, which means your feets soak in 2cm of water after the shower. Breakfast was ok.

Summary: A bit overpriced, but great location.

Negative: The property had no air-conditioning and no fans and as such the room was very hot. The property also had no screens so if you opened the windows the flys would come in. There was also a lot of spiders in the room which I had to kill.

Positive: We really only lacked fan(s) to make this an exceptional stay. We were told that these are to be included in upcoming renovations to the property. The setting is beautiful. The food in the restaurant was very good. The hotel staff were excellent, as were the local people. We truly enjoyed it, and look forward to return visits.

Positive: The location is amazing, the pool is nice though we couldn’t use for our last 2 days as I think they were adding chemicals and had a temporary fence around it. The fresh water showers beside the pool were a nice addition not just the pool but after surfing before entering room. The food was a little expensive at restaurant but was very good. Parking for car was secure and next to rooms for easy unloading and reloading bags. Easy access to surf and to view the surf break

Negative: Tricky to find entry for car, no fridge of jug in room to make coffee or tea, and was only available at breakfast or you could buy from them

Negative: The property is being renovated so there was construction happening the entire 3 days we were there. Loud and dusty all 3 days and couldn’t use the pool because of it. No discount offered and it wasn’t disclosed prior to booking. We paid for day passes at the boutique hotel next door and spent most of our time there when not surfing. Think surf/summer camping when booking this. Wouldn’t stay here again.
