Positive: We has a beautiful stay at the Delfim Douro Hotel. Our room was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated and the view from our balcony of the valley & vineyards was gorgeous. The reception staff were welcoming and very helpful if you needed anything.

Negative: The food was a little disappointing, breakfast was ok but everything else we had there was very average. I ordered a margarita & the bar person took it onto herself to add some blended up strawberries to it. Wait staff need some extra training.

Summary: A beautiful hotel in a gorgeous setting, that could be exceptional, but falls short in some areas.
